yesterday, Dec. 15 we finally received our home study, so i have sent all of our paper work to INS and i am praying that we get a letter very soon, because i don't want my paperwork to expire in a year.. if anyone knows how long it take, please let me know so that i will stop worrying... thank you all God bless....

finally..!!!

so this week i finally recieved the papers that were needed from ukraine and pennsylvania for my husband, but now i am waiting on the fingerprints for my husband that need to be done in oregon.. so this is a long and painful process.. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know... i wish that the laws would stop changing all the time.. does anyone know where i can look up the laws about the homestudy process and what needs to be done??

Frusterated....!!!!!!!

Today, i talked with the person who is doing my homestudy and she says that she still has not heard back from pennsylvania about the criminal background check for my husband and now she tells me that she has to do another criminal background check for ukraine, because he lived there for 18 years.. so this is a hassle because there are no records in ukraine, but she doesnt believe me and says that she needs to contact someone.. so we have waited now 3 months to get our homestudy and still nothing.. she says that it is ready to be mailed out, but she cant unless she gets those items.. this is kind of frusterating for me because i really want to turn in my homestudy on time so that none of my papers expire..

Today, Nov. 17, 2008 i talked with my homestudy agent and she told me that she is waiting for fingerprints to come back from pennsylvania for my husband and that everything is done and ready to be sent to me, and i even sent her the rest of the money for the homestudy.. i was blessed to get a wonderful person to do our homestudy since in the beginning it was hard for us to come up with some of the money.. also if anyone can hep me financially with my adoption i would be so thankful. God Bless everyone..!!!

i recieved my homestudy rough draft today and i made a few corrections on it and now we should be recieving our final copy hopefully pretty soon...

Results..!!

Today, Oct. 27, 2008 we got our results back from the clinic and now we can mail the homestudy and the I-600A form to the INS and get our fingerprints scheduled...
